Cala d'Or is a delightful collection of tucked away inlets lined with
sandy beaches. Whitewashed buildings make up the resort, complete with
large marinas, delightful fishing villages and popular beachfronts.

Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) evolved from a local fishing village,
with its white, flat-roofed houses around the picturesque fishing harbour
Cala d’Or became a desirable spot to have a holiday home, or for
a relaxing seaside vacation.
The resort encompasses several delightful coves, all now beset with
attractive hotels, apartment blocks and villas. It is a lovely resort,
recommended for families because most establishments cater extremely
well for children.
The Cala d'Or marina is the heart of the east coast resort area, attracting
the fashionable yachting set.
Shopping
Cala d’Or is known as one of the best shopping districts on Mallorca,
its main shopping street, Avinguda Tagomago, is clustered with chic
boutiques, leather shops and galleries.
Those in self-catering apartments who need supplies will find all
they require at the resort’s biggest supermarket, Caprabo, near
the resort entrance.
Restaurants
Cala d’Or’s high quality restaurants are situated around
the delightful marina, which is usually busy with holidaymakers enjoying
a variety of cuisines. The centre of town offers fast food outlets,
tapas, pizza, burger joints and several British type establishments.
Nightlife
Nightlife in Cala d’Or is more stylish than frantic, centred
around the many cocktail bars and discos that the resort has to offer.
One of the most popular nightclubs in town is Disco Alfa, and the wildest
is Farrahs Planet Ibiza.
Activities
Cala d’Or has seven beaches, of which the largest is Cala Gran,
all with fine white sand and clear water. The larger beaches have good
facilities offering watersports including sailing, windsurfing
